10. Not all dinosaurs were cold-blooded

Perhaps it's their reptilian appearance, but many people assume that dinosaurs were cold-blooded. While many were, there is evidence to support that some species, including some meat-eating and smaller plant-eating dinosaurs, were warm-blooded. It is hard to imagine that the active lifestyle some dinosaurs lived could be supported by the slower metabolism that cold-blooded creatures have.
