2. Pain During Urination

Known as dysuria, pain during urination is another typical sign of bladder cancer. In fact, it is often an early warning sign, so be sure to address it immediately. This pain is caused by the growth of a tumor as it presses on surrounding tissues. Regardless of the size, the pressure can result in a painful burning sensation. Changes in your bladder may be caused by cancerous cells growing at an unusual rate, which also equals more pain. In some patients, the pain comes and goes, but it is generally a consistent feeling. Seek the advice of a physician right away if you have severe pain during urination.
