Larry Wilcox may have played a law and order professional on screen, but in real life, he was not always on the right side of the law. Wilcox unwittingly solicited bribes for his mining company from an undercover agent working for the FBI. Wilcox decided to cooperate with agents. He was outfitted with a wire that he wore to help agents bring others involved in the scheme to justice.
