In 2005, Kansas quarters were minted with the motto, "In God We Rust." The motto was an error since the minters misspelled "trust," so the coins did not stay in circulation for a long time. These quarters are now scarce, also making them very valuable. Prices for Kansas coins with errors now sell for between $100.00 and $200.00. If you have some of these quarters lying around in boxes in your home, they're definitely worth more than a quarter.
