14. Basenji

With their fastidious grooming habits and super short fur, basenjis are perfect when you don’t want to groom much. They love to keep themselves clean, so they’re less likely to produce a foul odor than other dog breeds.

If you don’t have the time for lengthy daily walks, a basenji is an excellent companion. They only require one brief walk per day, and you can sometimes replace that with an indoor play session. Because of this, they’re excellent apartment dogs.
