13. Miniature pinscher

When having a small dog is a must for you, a miniature pinscher may just be worth it. They typically weigh between eight and 10 lbs, making them ideal for anybody who prefers compact pets.

Thanks to their size, they only require one or two quick walks per day, and they can burn off the rest of their energy through indoor play.

Even though they have low exercise requirements, they’re quite active and playful, so you'll have plenty of entertainment.
