7. Eros

One of Aphrodite's many children was Eros. His name is the basis of words such as "erotic," as he was the god of sexual desire and attraction. Additionally, he was also the protector of homosexual love. Originally, Eros was purportedly depicted as a blindfolded man with a bow and arrow. However, this also became the inspiration for the image of a cupid. Therefore, in some instances, he appears as such. According to legend, Eros's arrows can make any human fall in love.
