5. Almond Milk

Almond milk doesn't affect your blood sugar levels that much because it contains a tiny percentage carbohydrate. This is why we say that it has a low glycemic index. It also has some fibers, so it is very good for improving your digestion and increase food absorption in your body. Lactose isn't one of Almond milk's ingredients, so you can still drink it even if you have lactose intolerance. It usually tastes better than the cows' milk, so that is another reason to try it.
