5. Honey

Honey has both internal and external uses: it can be applied to the skin for a rejuvenating and soothing effect, but it can also be used as a sweetener to boost internal health. It is well known that honey is full of different nutrients; in fact, it's one of the most nutrient-rich foods, and moderate consumption can have incredible health benefits. People with eczema have found success using honey on the rashes to soothe the itch and calm the flare-ups. Try eating up to two teaspoons of raw honey per day (but keep it away from babies and toddlers). You may put honey on toast or add it to your favorite tea. Honey may also be enjoyed mixed into soups and stews, to reduce the acidic properties of tomato-based sauces.
