Crohn’s Disease is a condition of the bowel and gastrointestinal tract. Caused by an abnormal response in the immune system, this disease is often hereditary and is also more common in those under 30.

Symptoms are similar to that of Gastritis: abdominal pain, weight loss, bloating and diarrhoea, but with Crohn’s, you must also be aware of mucus or puss in your stools, rectal bleeding and severe pain and fever.  It can also lead to other parts of the body becoming inflamed such as the joints, skin, eyes and mouth.
