6. Exercise

Regular exercise is one the most important improvements you can make for your health. Increased exercise is also good for the digestive system because it promotes healthy and frequent bowel movements. Even though scientists can't quite put their finger on why exercise is good for bowel health, it is thought that it increases the strength of the muscles found in your digestive system, which in turn help push the content in your stomach with more ease. You should perform regular physical exercise around three times per week. Remember to consult your doctor before starting a new exercise routine.
