Exhaustion is another problem that could be caused by the body's inability to convert sugars and fats into energy, a result supporters link to adrenal fatigue. If you get enough sleep but do not feel rested or are groggy, confused, and still tired when you wake up, adrenal fatigue or a more severe form of adrenal insufficiency called Addison's Syndrome could be the cause.
