9. Turmeric and Ginger Tea

Both turmeric and ginger are supposed to have potent anti-inflammatory properties. They thus help reduce joint pain that's a by-product of swelling in the affected regions. To make turmeric and ginger tea, mix equal quantities of ground ginger and turmeric, and add them to a cup of boiling water. Let the water infuse for 10-20 minutes, then strain and consume. You may add the mixture to hot, brewed tea or even honey-sweetened hot water to enhance the taste.
