13. Vehicular Props
The producers of CHiPs were determined to provide a realistic portrayal of life maintaining law and order on the highways of Southern California. They purchased actual squad cars and motorcycles used by CHP. Fans will note that models shown on screen were actually a few years behind the times as these were the newest models that producers could obtain.
