10. Sweet Potato Toast

Long and slender sweet potatoes are preferable for making toast. Wash and dry the sweet potato thoroughly. Remove debris and bits of skin or root from the skin. Slice the sweet potato lengthwise into thin slices. Put the slices in a toaster on the highest setting, and repeat 2-3 times to ensure they are thoroughly cooked. A toaster oven is an easier alternative method to toast sweet potatoes. Arrange the slices on the toaster oven rack, and toast them on the highest setting for approximately 5 minutes.
