9. Rinse your hair

When you have allowed the recommended time, rinse the dye out of your hair. Take your time to rinse thoroughly, cleaning the skin around the neck, hairline, and ears to make sure any leaked dye is removed. As you rinse your hair, you will see colored dye running through the water. This is normal and to be expected. Continue to rinse until the water runs clear. Follow the instructions on when to shampoo your hair. After shampooing, use the provided conditioner on your hair.
