6. Macadamia Nuts

These luxurious buttery gems are a treat for humans but are one of the most toxic substances for dogs. Macadamia nuts contain an unknown toxin which can make dogs extremely ill. Symptoms include vomiting, weakness, joint pain, increased body temperature and inability to walk. In general, it’s not a good idea to feed nuts, including almonds, cashews, and pecans to your dog.
