7. Eating Turmeric

Turmeric is better absorbed when combined with black pepper or ginger.

Cayenne pepper is another good option. The spice contains capsaicin, which is the active ingredient in some over-the-counter creams recommended for pain and inflammation. Other herbs such as devil's claw, mullein root, white willow bark, and valerian root also offer anti-inflammatory benefits.
