The majority of humans — over half, and as much as 79% of the world — have brown eyes. Other eye colors appear only in people with European ancestry: blue eyes are the next most common color, but they fall far lower, at eight to 10%; about 5% of people have hazel eyes, and only 2% (that's about 156 million people) have green eyes.
