8. Milk and Toast

Dry toast and crackers have long been go-to foods for an upset stomach, and for good reason — they're bland, starchy, and unlikely to cause any further irritation. But on their own, they can feel a little uninspiring. A warm glass of milk alongside a piece of toast makes the combination more comforting and easier to digest. There's also something genuinely settling about warm milk when you're feeling unwell — don't underestimate that kind of comfort.
