It is the greatest enemy of harmful microorganisms and can make your food poisoning go away quickly. Our favorite ways to combat food poisoning with basil is either adding a few spoonfuls of pure basil oil to your lunch or adding a small handful of basil leaves to a bowl of Greek yogurt. The fiber in the yogurt, combined with the basil's antibacterial properties, will make food poisoning a thing of the past.
