If you are a meat lover, then you can appreciate a good steak when you see and taste one. There are many different steak cuts, but cube steak is especially fun to cook and even better to eat. This beef cut is typically taken from top sirloin or top round and is flattened with a meat tenderizer to leave the trademark cube indentations. Cube steak can be used for fabulous recipes, and you can get creative in the kitchen with such succulent steak.

Curried beef cube steak

A flavorful curry complements quality cube steak and makes for a memorable meal with a spicy kick. Heat onion, garlic, and cut pieces of steak in a skillet along with three teaspoons of your chosen curry powder. Add two cups of beef stock and any additional seasonings before bringing the mixture to a boil. Let simmer for up to an hour until the beef is tender. Add a touch of cilantro on top and serve with Jasmine or Basmati rice.

Beef Parmesan

Beef Parmesan is perfect for meat and cheese lovers. Mix cube steak in with three tablespoons of flour and a pinch of salt and pepper. Use a meat mallet to pound the steak and tenderize. Beat one egg and a tablespoon of water, dipping the steak in this mixture before coating with breadcrumb mixture. Brown the meat in vegetable oil for up to five minutes on both sides. Place in a baking dish and cover with tomato sauce, Parmesan cheese, and any other seasonings or spices. Bake for at minimum one hour until meat is tender, and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top for added flavor.

Chicken fried steak fingers

Chicken fried steak is a classic homestyle meal, especially when generously covered in country gravy. Mix a half cup of flour with teaspoons of salt and pepper, as well as one lightly beaten egg in another bowl. Dip steak in the flour before coating in the egg mixture and the flour once more. Fry the steak until crispy and golden brown, up to five minutes on each side. Make your own gravy with two tablespoons of beef or duck fat melted over medium heat. Add two tablespoons of flour and slowly pour in 3/4 cup of milk and 1/4 cup of chicken broth. Simmer and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Steak bites

There are are some delicious little steak bites to explore and enjoy, like bites fried in garlic butter, honey garlic, and Cajun butter. These are super easy to make, as you just need to choose your preferred seasoning, add in the butter, and get ready to fry up your steak. Cut the cube steak into small portions and cook on high heat for no more than five minutes. Pour the butter sauce over the steak bites and serve. Try with sides like mashed potatoes, garlic bread, or roasted vegetables.

Swiss steak

Swiss steak is simply braised in the slow cooker or oven with hearty vegetables and seasonings. Pound meat and combine a half cup of flour and half teaspoons of paprika, garlic powder, and pepper. Cover meat in this mixture before browning in medium heat. Place browned steaks on top of chopped carrots and onions in a pot before covering and cooking for two and a half or three hours. Serve with mashed potatoes for a delicious meal.

Stuffed cube steak

Stuffed cube steak can take your meat lunch or dinner to the next level. Prepare stuffing with veggies and seasonings and wrap the steak in bacon for added flavor. Brown meat in a skillet until cooked to your liking and top with gravy. If you want to spend more time in the kitchen, make your own herb stuffing with breadcrumbs, or to speed things up, you can use premade stuffing. Either way, it's very tasty!

Cube steak bulgogi

This tasty, tender beef dish goes great over rice or lettuce. Create a marinade mixture of sliced scallions, soy sauce, sesame oil, pear, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic. Cover and chill steak in marinade for two hours before cooking in oil for several minutes until edges of steak are crispy. Drizzle the leftover marinade on top and sprinkle with salt, red peppers, and scallions.

Philly cheese cube steak

The perfect Philly cheesesteak is made with quality meat, peppers, mushrooms, and onions. Of course, pick your cheese and get ready for a fabulous sandwich. Cover steak pieces in cheese while heating up, and combine with the veggies before serving on a hoagie roll. Feel free to add extra seasonings and serve with fries or chips for a satisfying meal.

Cube steak skillet

Pan-seared cube steaks make for a quick and quality meal. Use a half cup of flour and salt and pepper to coat the steak before heating in olive oil. Lay steak in the pan and cook for five minutes without moving it. Flip over and continue cooking until you get that gorgeous golden brown finish. Serve with cream gravy, mashed potatoes, and veggies for a classic delight.

Cube steak sandwich

If you're in the mood for an appetizing sandwich, fry up some cube steak and serve with onions, mushrooms, and gravy on your favorite roll. Cover steak slices in flour and use one tablespoon of oil and butter to cook the meat for two to three minutes until done on each side.
