2. Types of Hydrangeas

There are more than 75 different hydrangeas species and more than 600 named cultivars with many different colors, shapes, and sizes. Hydrangeas can grow as climbing vines and trees but are most commonly grown as shrubs, especially in North America. Hydrangeas can range in size from a 1-foot shrub to a massive 100-foot long climbing vine.
